The Piano Teacher French La Pianiste is a 2001 FrenchAustrian erotic thriller film written and directed by Michael Haneke, starring Isabelle Huppert and Benot Magimel. The film is based on 2004 Nobel Prize for Literature winner Elfriede Jelineks 1983 novel of the same name.
